A setting of then five poems comprising Angelic Imagination by Peter Abbs which were written in memory of Kate Cooper (1981-1991). The composition also takes inspiration from the Telemann Partita in G major for recorder, a performance of which occurs within the fabric of the work, which includes references back to Variations on Kate’s Theme 1992 and readings from the poems.
